It ain't ya beauty... it's ya silicone infused booty!

This post is a tribute to all the fake booties across America.  Butt implants are now just as common as breast implants.  It is so weird to me to see people walk around with these fake donkey butts.  I have a big butt and I HATE it.  Too much attention that I don't really care for.  I've become very used to it so I smile and laugh at the "big booty" jokes.  In all actuality, I don't even notice my butt is big until someone says something about it.  Its like a person with beautiful eyes.  They hear their eyes are beautiful daily but for them they're just some regular eyes.  I digress...

So women are running around pumping fat and cheese fries in their booties.  We got big booties, apple bottom booties, tear drop booties, onion booties, wide booties, cheesy booties, jiggly booties, box booties, donkey booties... I can go on...

So without further ado, Here are some of the most notorious booties of our time.

This is CoCo... Ice Tea's wife... PRE cakes

These are CoCo's new cakes.  She SWEARS they're real '/

This right here is Jenna Shea... She's a "Party hostess and feature dancer"

This is Jenna... Post Cake implants.  She also swears her cakes are real.  If you want more pix of her, follow her on Twitter @iamjennashea

Need I say more?  This is Nicki 'my ass is real, I swear' Minaj
Still don't believe me?
O_o

I threw this in here for the hell of it lol

This stanky booty belongs to Kat Stacks.  If you look closely you can see ass crumbs...

These are Angela Lola Luv's cakes.  Nice... and FAKE! but still nice nonetheless.

Tribute to the cakes across America, real or fake, you still make me smile...

Acting White? The fuck does that mean?

I read an article entitled, "Acting White is the New Black," and I had no clue what that was supposed to mean.

Growing up, I was always dubbed the 'the white girl.'  I was told I talk like a white girl, dress like a white girl, listen to white girl music and I basically act like a white girl.  What does that mean?  In every single case that I was addressed as a white girl, it was by someone who is black.

Digging a little deeper, I decided to explore the ideal of "acting white."  Most African American people don't realize that comments like that hinder you from growth as an individual.  You set yourself up to fail if you identify all things good, with being white.  Speaking like a white girl meant that I spoke properly.  I didn't use "nigga" and "nah mean" at the end of every sentence (typical stereotype).  Dressing like a white girl meant that I didn't wear urban labels and I thought outside of the box when it came to fashion.  Listening to white girl music meant that I wasn't black enough because I don't necessarily know the words to a Jay Z song, but put on some Pink and I'm rocking out with my cock out.

I think that this mentality is tied into days where if you wanted more for yourself or something a bit different, you have an air about you that makes you better than everyone else.  It makes you "bougie."  Individuality has no color.  We should really own the fact that we are capable of being educated, we are capable of acting and living outside of stereotypes, we are capable of being exactly who we are and not who we have been defined to be by society.  Next time someone tells you that you speak like a white person, ask that person how they feel about themself.  Are black people not capable of being educated and carrying on an intelligent conversation?  Love yourself enough to know the difference.  I'm not "acting white." We are doctors, lawyers, congressmen, singers, actors, actresses, engineers, professors, mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, and now... presidents.  Don't limit yourself by living in these boxes.

Are you bullet proof?

Have you heard that song before?  Bulletproof by La Roux.  I was listening to it today and I realized how many people walk around with their bulletproof vest on.  Shit, I  know I do.  After being in a relationship for 2 years and having it come to an end, the last thing I want to deal with is another breakup.  So I wear my bulletproof vest.  Keep everyone at arms length, and I spend a lot of time observing.  But is this helping or hindering?

A friend told me to take a chance, my attitude might cause me to miss "the one".  Is that even possible?  If you're "the one" then how can I miss you?  Whats meant to be will be right?  Anyway, as I listened to La Roux sing about walking away from something that she finally decides is toxic and shield's herself with her bulletproof vest, I realize that I AM BULLETPROOF.  Good thing? I'm not too sure but I know that my vest is strong enough to repel pain.  In life, pain is unavoidable.  Totally contradicted myself right? WRONG! Some bullets penetrate unexpectedly... others you see coming.  I dodge what I see coming, If you penetrate expectantly then that's my fault because I should've seen it coming.  Any way kiddies :o) Check out the lyrics.

BULLETPROOF-
Been there, done that messed around
I'm having fun, don't put me down
I'll never let you sweep me off my feet

I won't let you in again
The messages I tried to send
My information's just not going in

Burning bridges shore to shore
I break away from something more
I'm not turned on to love until it's cheap

Been there, done that messed around
I'm having fun, don't put me down
I'll never let you sweep me off my feet

This time, baby, I'll be bulletproof
This time, baby, I'll be bulletproof

I won't let you turn around
And tell me now, I'm much too proud
To walk away from something when it's dead

Do, do, do your dirty words
Come out to play when you are hurt?
There's certain things that should be left unsaid

Tick, tick, tick, tick on the watch
And life's too short for me to stop
Oh baby, your time is running out

I won't let you turn around
And tell me now I'm much too proud
All you do is fill me up with doubt

This time, baby, I'll be bulletproof
This time, baby, I'll be bulletproof
This time, baby, I'll be bulletproof
This time, baby, I'll be bulletproof

This time I'll be bulletproof
This time I'll be bulletproof

This time, baby, I'll be bulletproof
This time, baby, I'll be bulletproof
This time, baby, I'll be bulletproof
This time, baby, I'll be bulletproof

Fuck Valentine's Day!

Ok, don't call me a hater or anything.  I'm not bitter. I'm all for love and all that bullshit... but what is the huge deal about Valentine's Day?  This year I do not have a Valentine.  I'm completely okay with that.  A few years back, I would have probably slit my wrist at the idea of me having to spend the day around these happy bastards as they walk around with their stupid ass chocolate and bum ass flowers and punk ass teddy bears.  I was bitter back then.  Then 2 years ago I experienced love.  I was in a relationship.  I got to be one of those broads with teddy bears, the flowers and the cards.  I realized that these things (acts of love, not necessarily material items) should be expressed to me daily, not just one day out of the year.  Last year, I took on that attitude and kept Valentine's day very low key.  I went to church with my then partner and went out to eat.  This year I decided to say FUCK VALENTINES DAY! lol.  It's not coming from a bitter place, but I feel like this day is designed to make single people aware that they are single.  It puts pressure on couples to out do them self every year, when in all actuality, LOVE should be expressed daily.  Valentine's Day should not be the only day out of the year you express your love, appreciation and gratitude for your partner.

In the spirit of singledom (yes, singledom) I vow to celebrate Valentine's Day everyday.  I vow to love myself everyday.  I vow to love whom ever I chose to be with everyday.  I vow to make sure those that I love feel it everyday.

For those of you who live for Valentine's Day, please don't let me crush that for you.  Just remember that Love is FREE... It can occur 365 days a year. 24 hours a day. 7 days a week.

Love Jones

Last night was the 3 Minds Love Jones Event hosted by lil' ole' me.  It was a crazy yet beautiful night.  It was truly a gift to be surrounded by so many BEAUTIFUL and TALENTED people.  On behalf of the 3Minds camp, I would like to thank EVERYONE who came out to support by being in the audience or by reading their work.  Thank you to all of our sponsors, No Labelz Magazine, PGN Consulting and Unique's Cupcakes.

I have no pictures from last night! *pout* Forgive me?  I'll make it up to you by posting the poem that I read last night.  SPECIFICALLY for the show.  Now I have NEVER read any of my work in front of such a huge crowd so its safe to say my cherry got popped.  From what I hear, a couple of people got their cherry popped last night.  Anyone interested in having the poem that they read last night featured on the blog or any pictures featured, please hit me up! @marshbar9 ;o)

This one is called....

Mind Fucked
Will u let me fuck you?
Mentally of course...
I just feel the need to get inside of you..
Pick your brain a lil bit.
Fuck you senseless..
But leave your senses awake...
Heightened even.
Sensitive to the point that I can no longer touch you...
Mentally of course.
Aren't you horny?
Poetically...
In need of stimulation to keep your brain waves in tune...
Words made to penetrate..
Busting through thoughts.
Birthing ideas...
Shit...
Aren't you excited?
I'm aroused.
Mentally of course...
Its a numbing experience.
When done correctly you will have mental orgasms.
Resulting in a regurgitation of words.
Hmmm...
Its the calm before the storm...
And suddenly there's an explosion
Damn...

Ugandan Martyr David Cato's Memorial

Please come out and support this event.  Most people aren't educated about what is going on in the world.  While we are fighting for marital rights, people are fighting for their right to be gay and proud.  How often do we neglect the fact that we are able to walk around holding hands with our partner?  In places like Uganda you can serve jail time of 7-20 years for being gay, knowing someone who is gay and not reporting it, or displaying affection publicly with your partner.  Landlords can get charged for housing a homosexual.  Come get educated about this issue as we honor David Cato, a gay rights activist who was stoned to death for being no one other than himself.

BeBe's Kids!

So the other day I logged onto my Facebook account and found myself on my 14 year old cousins Facebook page.  My 14 year old cousin lives in Buffalo with her mother.  She is one of those kids that you would see on Maury talking about, "Yea, I don't listen to my mother.. and what, bitch?"  Anyway, I go on her facebook and see her in a picture bent over with some girl behind her.  As I continued to go through her album I saw pics of her and all her friends sticking their middle fingers up.  I read the captions.  "My Niqqaz," "My Bitchez."  So being the person that I am, I commented under every single picture.  I made sure to let her know that young ladies don't conduct themselves in this manner and she is to takes these pictures down IMMEDIATELY.  Then to make sure I got my point across, I called her.  I explained to her that she is 14 years old and is to act her age.  Boysdon't respect women who act like birds.  Respectable boys anyway.  My little cousin then told me that she is just "tired of following rules."

That comment boggled my mind.  At 14, what are you responsible for?  Going to school and getting good grades.  Not a bill in the world. Not a worry in the world.  But the bigger question is, who is to blame for this kind of behavior?  I have no children.  I shouldn't have to call someone else's child to tell them about their behavior.  What stand do parents take on their children's behavior?  There have been plenty of times that I've seen a parent and their child on the train or bus.  The child has no respect and the parent just can not be bothered.  I know I'm not the only person who says to them self, "I wish my child would act a damn fool like that in public." Have parents stopped caring?

I think of how I was raised.  I wasn't allowed to wear nailpolish until I was 16.  No cell phone until I was 17.  I was one of the few people who waited until I was 21 to enter the club.  I was raised to say please and thank you.  Give your seats up for the elderly, disabled and pregnant.  Respect your elders.  Speak when spoken to.  Are we instilling these values in our children?  Seems like we are raising a bunch of Bebe's kids.  To all the parents out there that are working hard to raise scholars and instill respect and responsibility in your children, I SALUTE YOU.  To the other parents, I implore you to stop allowing the TV, rappers and hood celebs raise your children.  If your child can recite a Nicki Minaj song, but doesn't know who Angela Davis is, you should really look at your parenting skills.
