The Friday before last I trooped to BK to support one of my FAVORITE street poets.  I enjoyed myself IMMENSELY.  It was a great opportunity to experience other poets and feel them in their craft.  I even got the chance to nervously grace the stage.  It was very humbling to be amongst such greatness.  Check out some flicks and PLEASE be sure to be in the building for the next poetry event on Sept 10th at Alchemist Lounge.

I survived Irene!

So Irene came to chill with us last night over here on the east coast.  She did major damage in some places, but up here in Harlem, she walked on by.  I was one of the people who thought this storm was over dramatized.  This storm was being called "The Storm of a Lifetime," on the news and was being compared to Hurricane Katrina.  Irene was NOTHING compared to Katrina.  Thousands of people lost their lives during Katrina.  Irene caused flooding and ruined a few cars.  Either way, I am thankful to still be alive and kicking.

On another note, there were some dumb ass people not taking the storm seriously.  Like the 3 people surfing in Rockaway Beach after it was supposed to be evacuated.  The couple caught Kayaking that had to be rescued...  Of course they were... *clears throat*... well... you know.  They weren't of Nubian decent.

Chased with a STRAP?

Some crazy shit happens in Florida! 

Jantavia Taylor of Bradenton, Florida almost got arrested for chasing her live in girlfriend, Tamara Cadet, with a strap... So in typical lesbian fashion, the couple found themselves being over the top with the fighting.  As the arguement became more intense, Jantavia pulled out what appeared to be a knife.  Tamara ran outside screaming.  The neighbors called the police because they thought Tamara was being chased by her girlfriend with a knife.  Because Jantavia isn't a slim goody, she gave up the chase and went back to the house.  When the police arrived, they realized that Tamara wasn't being chased with a knife... She was being chased with  a strap and a dildo.

I think after hearing this story, I quit being a lesbian.  Now you mean to tell me this damn girl was running around with a STRAP and foolios thought it was a knife? What kind of strap and weenis did they have? O_o

Does penetration make you gay?

I randomly thought about this the other day.  I don't believe that men who enjoy penetration are gay.  Who said that penetration in a heterosexual act?  Penetration is neither heterosexual or homosexual.  It is simply a sexual act that is left to be enjoyed by whom ever chooses to participate in it.  As people, we put the definition and terms on sexuality.  Because a man can impregnate a woman through penetration, it has been deemed the "heterosexual" act.  ANYONE can enjoy penetration. That includes straight MEN!

If your a straight woman, and your man asks you to stick your finger in his ass, don't be scared or worried.  It doesn't mean he is gay, just means that to him, a finger in the ass feels good! You should only worry when he has men sticking their fingers, weenis' and cucumber/carrots in his ass.
