A Guy and A Girl

Tonight on 3MindsLive....

You're beautiful!

When someone tells you you're beautiful, do you believe them?  I hope so.

There is something so special about a woman who is humbly beautiful.  She genuinely smiles and appreciates a compliment about her inner and outer beauty.  That kind of attitude can make a woman's skin glow just a little bit brighter.  On the other hand, no one wants to be around the beautiful girl who thinks she's better than everyone else.  That can make the most beautiful woman in the world look like lil' mama.  I've met gorgeous women that walk around acting like their shit doesn't stink because God blessed them with a beautiful face.  I know women who use their pretty face to get by in life.

There's nothing wrong with knowing and believing that you are beautiful because we all are.  Its how your energy redirects that compliment that determines your true beauty.

Summertime Antics!

The weather has been beautiful the last few days so I think we can all agree that Summer is finally here.  What happens when summer arrives?  The Summertime fuckery and antics begin!  I figured I'd do a TOP 6 Summertime Fuckery list that will be all too familiar for the LGBTQ Community.

6) Big girls, small clothes-  Nothing wrong with being a shapely woman.  Something wrong with not covering all your shapes.  Please ladies, don't have your big ole' tiger belly hanging out...

5) I'm Single!!!- Now girl, you know you are NOT single!!!  With all the extra skin walking around, expect for your winter lover to feel it fit for a break.  she'll need time to "concentrate on herself."

4) Club fights- Hot weather brings out the beast in the homos.  Remember that girl from 2001 that almost looked at you dirty but you cant really tell cuz you were high and someone was standing in front of you?  Well there she goes over there and she MIGHT be looking at you.  Let's fight!

3) Nutcrackers- Liquid crack all for 3-5 bucks.

2) Small girls, small clothes- YASSSSS!!! *in my gay boi voice*  You better wear that bra and pantie set from Rainbows to the club!

1) Beyonce overload- this will be the summer of Beyonce dancing, Beyonce dressing, Beyonce hairstyles, Beyonce breath, Beyonce toe nails *rolls eyes*  this bitch really does run the world...

YOU'RE NOT MY DADDY!

There's one thing I will never understand and its the aggressive females obsession with being called daddy.  I don't think I will EVER call another female daddy.  Call me a prude, but my FATHER fucked my MOTHER.  That's where I came from.  Why on earth, during one of the most intimate moments (sex) would I want to call you daddy?

It's just weird.

It could be because I had daddy issues.  I don't call my OWN father daddy.  I call God Daddy.  IT'S JUST WEIRD!  Why would you wanna fuck your dad anyway?

Last Night on 3Minds Live...

Last night on 3Minds live we had Vital and Vanessa, co-creaters of  Elevated Productions on the show(@VitalisElevated and @IamElevated).  Vital and Vanessa are apart of a very important movement that is so important to our community and our youth today.

*Each year 100,000 New Yorkers experience homelessness.
*Each night, over 38,000 homeless individuals sleep in the New York City shelter system.  This includes more than 16,000 children and 8,000 single adults.  Thousands more sleep on city streets and in other public places.
*Nearly 1-in-20 New York City residents have experienced homelessness.
*Families make up 78% of New York City's homeless shelter population.
*Approximately 90% of homeless New Yorkers are black or Latino, although only 53% percent of New York City's total population is black or Latino.

Vital and Vanessa spent one night in the city as homeless people.  They got kicked out of Starbucks, slept on trains and asked for money on behalf of the homeless youth.  While their efforts were commendable, they were not widely received by the public.  Many people thought that they were trying to scam the public.  More heterosexuals supported them that homosexuals.  Ultimately, an important lesson was learned.  It is never easy for the homeless out there.  There are different degrees of homelessness.  Either way, homelessness is problem that grows day by day.

3Minds has decided to partner with Elevated Productions and spend one night on the streets as homeless people.  Let's band together to raise awareness about homelessness in NYC.  If anyone is interested in joining us, please contact Vanessa, Vital or Delicia (3Minds manager) with the information provided below.

Thursday, May 26th Elevated Productions will be donating for Stand Up For Kids, an organization that helps homeless youth 14+.  This event will be in front of BestBuy and people can donate clothes, toiletries and non perishables.  If you are interested in making a donation, please feel free to stop by the BestBuy in union square at 7pm.

Can you spit on my WHAT?

How many people are fans of spitting?  I think its disgusting but to each its own.  My question is, what exactly does it add to the experience?  I'm thinking, if you have to spit on it then your not doing it right.  When your messing with a woman's lower region you should automatically get that "slippery when wet" feeling.

What's the spit about?  Not a fan.  Spit on me and I'm gonna spit right back on that ass and then we'll be fighting.

Hot twitpic of the day @KrazySexicool

It's been a while but we are back at it!  Here's our hot twitpic of the day @Krazysexicool! She has a whole lot of assets!

Nicki Minaj SUCKS!

Sooo... Nicki has officially crossed over into the world of commercialism.  What the heck was she doing during the Billboard Awards?

Music, what happened to it?

I absolutely love music.  When I was younger, I found myself caught up with Sade, Anita Baker, Luther Vandross, Intro, Keith Washington, Tony Toni Tonee, Mint Condition.. and the list goes on.  To me, that was real music.  Music was in an authentic era where people created music because it was what they loved to do.  The motivation wasn't ONLY monitary, but it was also because artist wanted to share their soul with the fans.

Through the years, the music industry changed drastically.  It became gimmicky.  People realized that becoming commercial artist is the way to make a quick buck and become mainstream.  I HATE commercial music.  There's no soul in it.  People start making "hits" instead of making music.  "Artist" began changing their style and personalities to make money instead of being true to themselves.  Now you have "artist" like Rihanna and Beyonce, who sing, dance, act, have a clothing line, perfume line and the list goes on.  While these ladies are great performers, their need and hunger to be on top of everything takes away from their craft.  Micheal Jackson is the best artist of our time and he never had to put out a clothing line or play the lead in a movie because that was not his passion.

I look at Rihanna specifically.  She's absolutely beautiful.  When she first came out, she was NOTHING like how she is now.  She came out and was marketed to the urban community (Pon di' Replay).  When that didn't work for her, her image changed.  She became more edgey.  Honestly, all Rihanna has is a pretty face and a banging body.  The image is not hers.  The songs she sings are not written by her.  Her style was given to her.  While her pockets are straight for the rest of her life, she got it all by being manufactured.  I much rather be true to myself than to be somebody's product.

I begin to wonder if these "artist" do this for the love of music, or the love of fame and money.  Don't get me wrong, you should get paid for your craft, but when you begin all these other products because you are marketable and the public will feed into it, does it become a passion or is it simply a gimmick to get more of your fans money?

I appreciate REAL artist like Janelle Monae and Marsha Ambrosius who stick to their craft of writing and creating history.  All the real artist out there struggling to make it, stay true to yourself.  Don't sell out to the commercial gods out there.
